Our Mission
The Music Teachers Guild is designed to support the continuing education for music educators and instructors regardless of their current teaching situation or how they engage in the trade. The Guild offers practical and accessible professional learning for
Musicians desiring to develop their repertoire of instructional strategies, learning activities, diagnostic skills, and prescriptive methods for individual or small group instruction
Pre-service and In-service educators seeking to fill the knowledge gaps between university methods courses and the K-12 classroom
In-service educators seeking extension opportunities to increase their repertoire of teaching skills, ensuring continuing licensure and job growth

Early Career Cohorts
Our signature 40-week hybrid mentorship and learning program is designed to give early career music educators the edge when entering the classroom. Using a combination of self-paced modules, live instruction, and social support it is the best way to prevent praxis shock and learn to love teaching music.
